A Word to the Prophets and the Prophetic People of God

We are moving into the Jewish New Year — Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets. This will be a year that the Lord is bringing us into a new rest in Him, even as the shaking is all around us.

There is an acceleration taking place in the spiritual and natural dimensions — an acceleration that builds upon the acceleration that began in July — and God is bringing us to the next level. A higher level for those who would run & keep in step with His Spirit.

As we step into the new year, the following is a word to the prophets and the prophetic people of God.

Beloved, set your face as flint; I will make your forehead like the hardest stone, harder than flint.

My prophets, seers, and intercessors, it is time to set your faces as flint. It is time to set your faces to the battle.

My order to march has gone out, and I have increased your prophetic insight, foresight, accuracy, and authority. I am giving you much power in prayer. The enemy has also released the prophets’ main opponent, Jezebel, in violent assignments against My chosen prophets, BUT I will be their personal coach in defeating these attacks. I am giving you weapons for warfare!

1. Speak Faithfully

Son of man, I am sending you to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against me.. The people to whom I am sending you are obstinate and stubborn. Say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says.’ And whether they listen or fail to listen – for they are a rebellious people – they will know that a prophet has been among them. And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words.. Do not be afraid of what they say or be terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people. You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious.

Ezekiel 2: 3-7

You must speak My word when I tell you to. Even if the people to whom I send you reject My message and messenger, you must be faithful to speak.

Beloved I have made you a watchman for My people, so hear the word I speak and give it to them from Me. When I say to you, ‘Speak,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, they will be punished for their sins and I will hold you accountable for their blood. Fear God, not man — this is so important in My last days prophets, especially as wickedness increases on the earth.

The enemy Jezebel seeks to control My prophets through manipulation and intimidation. I am calling My people to rise up in the fear of the Lord. As the fear of the Lord increases, the fear of man decreases. As this happens, every criticism commissioned by hell to discredit, malign, discourage, and intimidate My prophets will not be able to hurt them, for their identity will be so rooted in My love.

Remember, this great gift I have given to you is for MY ministry, not yours. You don’t have to fight so hard against those who reject My word through you. It is not your job to convince them; it is My Spirit’s job to convict them. It is My battle, not yours, so just keep your eyes on Me and speak faithfully, and My peace, joy, and love will protect you.

2. Obey Personally

But you, son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not rebel like that rebellious people; open your mouth and eat what I give you.

Ezekiel 2:8

Even if others reject My message through you, you must obey it. Not only must you speak it, but you must also live it. Obedience is key in this season, and immediate obedience at that. You don’t need to know everything or have it all figured out; just know that you are held by Me and I am leading you. Striving will snag you. Let go, come deeper still into trust.

There is the temptation of the soul to “go ahead” when I am saying “wait”. Surrender is key. Stepping into things apart from My covering will leave you open to the enemy’s arrows.

The messenger must become the message in order for him/her to have highest authority of that word. The prophet’s life must first become the prophecy.

Obey. Live the word I’ve given you to deliver. Let that word become you just as Jesus was the Word. And that one spoken word of God will bear much power to transform this generation.

3. Forgive Immediately

The Spirit then lifted me up and took me away, and I went in bitterness and in the anger of my spirit, with the strong hand of the Lord on me. I came to the exiles who lived at Tel Aviv near the Kebar River. And there, where they were living, I sat among them for seven days – deeply distressed.

Ezekiel 3:14 & 15

My beloved one, forgive the ones who reject you because of Me. Forgive them when they malign you, spread lies about you, reject you, and turn others against you.

Pray for them, love them, irregardless of how they behave. In the end, it’s between you and Me anyway. Don’t allow a bitter root judgment to rise up and make you just like the ones you’re bitter against, because that’s what bitterness does. You become what you behold, so release your tormentors into forgiveness and behold My Son instead.

In these last days, My prophets will give My church many vital & strategic instructions from My throne room. The enemy wants to hinder millions in this generation from hearing My decrees, timings, and strategies.. which is why there is such an assault on My prophets and seers in this season. The enemy will try to hold you back by using people – especially My own children, those who are unenlightened, deceived – to malign, discredit, slander, manipulate, and intimidate you.

Under this assault, you must SET YOUR FACE AS FLINT. Ignore them, let Me be your defender. Forgive them. Refuse to march to the voice of man, you must march only to My voice.

Resolve not to let others’ opinion of you & your ministry cause you to become wounded and defensive. Forgive your enemies, even those within My house (though I know those hurt the most) and trust Me to defend and vindicate you.

4. Above all, Rest and Peace will be your Sword & Shield

The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.

Romans 16: 20

My peace will be your weapon AND defense, in the heat of the battle. The enemy has unleashed lying, slandering, divisive battalions to tear down My servants’ credibility so that everything I’ve given them to SEE and HEAR will be discredited and maligned. Remain in My Father’s protection in the secret place.

Refuse to rise up and defend yourself or your ministry; strife will make a target of the assignments of the spirit of Jezebel. I know that it is sometimes greatly testing for you when you and your ministries are lied about and criticized, but if you keep your eyes on Me, Jezebel will have no power over you.

Give every wound and persecution truly to Me, and you will not be overwhelmed by discouragement.

View all your work as My ministry not yours, and you will not have to fight so hard in your heart against the lies spoken against you.

Keep your eyes on Me, come to Me to heal your hurts instead of seeking self-comfort, and you will not be taken hold of by besetting sins.

Care only for My opinion, find your greatest joy in My presence, and you will truly know peace.

Even when your reputation and calling is violently attacked, choose to continually abide in the shadow of My presence. Jezebel’s greatest enemies are My servants who, through death to their own reputation & ambition, have learned to ignore her continual calls to war, hostility, intimidation, and have kept their eyes on Me. This renders her completely helpless.

The God of PEACE will crush the spirit of Jezebel under your feet!

My beloved one, pray for those who persecute you. Bless those who spitefully use you. And My Spirit will take you further still…
