I shared a word last month about BREAKTHROUGH, and the importance of holding on to hope as we break through into our breakthrough. Shortly after that word was released, I had a dream that I believe is the continuation of that word. This is the message of the dream.
The Lord is calling out “Don’t abandon HOPE.”
As you press in for your breakthrough, don’t leave hope behind. We’re in the season of entering into our breakthrough, and there is a reminder in the Spirit not to neglect hope in our pursuit. Now, more than ever, we must never leave Hope’s side.
I see that the enemy seeks to manipulate God’s children through subtle deception. Those he cannot discourage in their quest for breakthrough, he will distract through busyness as they press in for their breakthrough.
The Lord is reminding us to be vigilant. We must begin living in the spirit, not being led by the soul. We must cut through the layers of first and second heaven where the flesh operates and the spiritual principalities are at war, and reach a place where we operate in the third heavens where we are “seated with God in heavenly places” (Ephesians 2:6). Only then will we be able to discern with clarity and precision, able to distinguish between contending for our breakthrough vs. strife and busyness.
When we are seated with God in heavenly places, we will begin to see our world and circumstances through His eyes. No longer will we judge things according to human understanding, but according to God’s thoughts. That’s when we will begin to see all things through eyes of hope. That’s when we begin to shift atmospheres, praying and decreeing from heaven to earth instead of striving from earth to heaven.
Hope Precedes Promise and Honor
I heard the Lord say that in days to come, He is birthing in many of His people these two things: Honor and Promise.
As we hold on to hope, He will release to us promises. Old promises will begin to “suddenly” come to fulfillment. Furthermore, new promises will be deposited in us! When hope is our companion, weary hearts will begin to dream again. We will become fertile soil for new promises of God to take root and bear fruit.
After hope will come honor. People will look at our lives, the broken places from where we came, and the breakthroughs that we now have, and declare, “It could only be God. He/she could only be where they are now because of the hand of God.” Your life will become a vessel through which God is honored.
“The LORD said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.” Numbers 21:8
Jesus said, “When I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all people to myself.” When we hold on to hope, it is a prophetic declaration that we trust in His sovereignty, power, and love for us. As we lift Him up so in our lives, we are lifting up a standard in the wilderness, and He will draw all men to Himself!
Beloved, now more than ever, keep in step with hope. Keep close to hope. God is on the move!
What a lovely blog you have, Samantha, and what wonderful words of insightful encouragement you share in this post! Yes, we can never abandon hope, even if all seems to be lost. Hope is always an option.
“praying and decreeing from heaven to earth instead of striving from earth to heaven.” Amen; this is what He gives us the authority to do in Christ! We need to keep our eyes on Jesus and seek first the kingdom of God, not allowing other things and people to distract us from Him and His purpose for our life.
To God be the glory!
“For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.” Romans 11:36
Faith and hope seems like means the samething? ?
