A Word In Season: The Pain Of Pruning Will Become Your Beauty In Blooming

“My child, I love you.

I know that you are in a difficult and painful place, and you feel like you have been cut off from many things. I see your pain and it hurts Me to see you hurting.

One day you will understand why you are going through your present circumstance. This is not the end, it is part of the process for you to come closer to My heart.

I am the vinedresser, and those whom I love, I prune. Here I stand, and I hold you lovingly in My hand.

I am cutting off the thorns that choke you – the pleasures of life, deceitfulness of wealth, distractions of fleeting gratification. These thorns may be small and barely perceptible, but they will slowly and surely choke Life from your heart.

I am removing all the thorns in your life. I love you and I want nearness with you, but these thorns are blocking your heart from Mine and I cannot bear the distance.

I know it hurts at the moment. Know that it pains Me to see you in such pain.

But just a little longer, and you will be with Me. You will come to Me, and I will soothe your hurts and bind you up, and you will flourish like you’ve never done before.

You are waiting for My promises to come true in your life. I promise you now that they will. My word that goes out from my mouth will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. I am watching to see that My word is fulfilled.

Trust Me, flow with Me, let the waters of My Spirit take you places beyond your own limits and boundaries. I have not forsaken nor forgotten you, and I never will.

My promises to you are irrevocable, always remember that. They are yours to keep.

But know that with My promises come testing because of the Word given to you (Mark 4:17).

These trials and testings are meant to bring to reality what has already been deposited in you. A carpenter may fashion pieces of wood to serve as a chair, it may have all the parts put together just right, and might even look exactly like a chair – but it cannot be called a chair unless it has been tested and proved able to hold the person sitting on it.

The greatest testing points are also the highest points of reality, because that is when the truest nature of the subject is revealed.

My Word has the ability to perform itself. Therefore, My promises in your life come with the process by which you are prepared to receive them. Because I love you, and I cannot give you something that is beyond your ability to handle. My promises are so good, so much bigger and wilder than you can ever imagine – and I want you to be prepared so that it won’t destroy you when the time comes for its fulfillment in your life.

Trust Me and surrender yourself to Me.

The pain of pruning will become your beauty in blooming. Bear with Me a little longer. I am pruning and preparing you for great beauty, and I will not leave you in it a moment longer than you can endure.

I am in it with You, My grace will empower you in your trials.”
