Beloved friend,
Alex I had just come out of a very dark time in our marriage when the Lord spoke to me about writing this book. He gave me a glimpse of His heart that so desires healing and restoration for all His children, and told me to put His heart into words.
Over the years, through my battles with depression, childhood issues, and great spiritual attack against my marriage, I have experienced God’s heart for restoration. He truly loves us so much. He doesn’t want to just save us so we go to heaven; He wants each of His children to experience the fullness of life now, right here on earth as it is in heaven.
If you are holding this book in your hands, I believe it is not a coincidence that you are reading these pages. I believe with all my heart that the Father loves you very much, and has done all He can to put this book in your hands. Whether you are recovering from, going through, or about to enter, a season of trial and great pain, I pray that Holy Spirit would take the words from these pages and wrap them around your heart with His love.
This daily devotional contains prophetic words that the Lord spoke to my heart day by day as I waited on Him for the message He has for you, His beloved.
The main scripture that the Lord had me meditate on while writing this book was Isaiah 61. I was surprised to find that, as the book progressed, there was one message repeated day after day – how great is God’s love for you. It has been proven that most people need considerable repetition in order for a thought or idea to take root. It then takes even more repetition for it to bear fruit (change behavior). If the repetition included in this devotional is not enough, reread through the days until your victory is complete. You may also want to reread it periodically just to be sure that certain things have not crept back in. our goal is to get free, then to stay free!
If you are having trouble in receiving the love of God, I recommend that you read the previous scriptures every day for a while. let the truth of God’s love really sink into your heart – not just as head knowledge, but as a deep- in-you-gut, knowing-that-you-know-that-you-know kind of understanding.
Most importantly, this devotional is meant to be taken slow, according to the pace that your heart is able to receive. don’t rush through the days. Let the Holy Spirit guide you as He works through the areas of your heart that need His healing.
In His love,
Samantha Lee-Wiraatmaja

Saturating our hearts with God’s word is indeed the only way to live a life pleasing to our Father.

I am always amazed – and humbled – by the greatness of God’s love for us.
no coincidence at all for those who need it – it’s a God thing 😀
God’s love is so powerful, and yet so often people get caught up in a different aspect of God. His love is the essential part that allows Jesus into our hearts and a relationship to happen.
Thanks for sharing your heart

Wow! Good for you! Writing a book of any kind is a challenge but I would think that a devotional book would be more difficult as it relates to the unseen – the heart!
