The Lord has been saying over and over again that many of His faithful children will be taken to a new level in July. He has also been warning us that the enemy will push hard against us because we’re about to move to the next level, and He’s given us strategies to overcome the enemy’s attacks.

On the second day of July, I had a pivotal, life-defining encounter with Him. Suddenly I was soaring in the spirit, so light and free. I was on a giant eagle, rising higher and higher. Jesus was soaring next to me on another giant eagle, the wind in His hair and He was laughing with joy. He took me over a citadel and showed me that He’s taking some of us higher up in the spirit than ever before. Through intimacy with Him, there will be new levels of prophetic insight + foresight, a new level of accuracy + authority. A new way of seeing + doing things, not as “how things were done before” or “what is expected”, but led solely by Holy Spirit, according to THRONE ROOM revelation. And I heard this song He sang over me, “Will you trust ME and soar with Me?”

Before I do the impartation for breaking through to the next level, the Lord said it was very important that I first speak about stewarding the move of God before I release it. Because He is not just interested in a visitation but a habitation, not just the gifts but how to sustain them so they bless us and don’t crush us.

In the coming season, His emphasis is on walking with Holy Spirit.

These 3 things will be very important when it comes to walking with Holy Spirit:

1. PRAYER. A constant connection to our Father, apart from whom we can do nothing. Many of us have not reached the point where we live with such bold faith that we would certainly fail apart from God, but the next level will bring us there. He is taking us to a place of such extravagant favor + opportunity that we would be unable to carry the load unless we remain deeply rooted in Him. We must resolve to commit to press deep into Him, or we will remain where we’re at and not advance.

2. INTIMACY. Getting so close to Jesus, as close as our softest breath. The lovers will always outdo the workers, because if one gave his life for love he would count it as nothing. God is looking for His laid-down lovers who would drop everything to say a broken, “Yes, Lord” to Him. We must not confuse anointing/gifting with intimacy — God gives me gifts to show His love to the world through me, but intimacy is a depth of a knowing between just Him and me that takes time to build. Jesus said that in the last days, many would say “Lord didn’t we do deliverance, prophesy in your name…?” and Jesus will say, “Away from Me, I never knew you.” It is very possible to be flowing in all the spiritual gifts and yet not know/be known by God. Pursue His heart, not his hand. Pursue His kingdom, and everything else will be added to you.

3. DEPENDANCE. These are the days where we need Holy Spirit more than ever. We need His wisdom, His comfort, His power, and for Him to move hearts the way no human being could. We need to partner with Him in everything that we do, and that requires us to become dependant. Dependance means acknowledging our need of Him, inviting Him to come in and take charge in every area, and trusting in Him by obeying instantly whenever He speaks. Too many in our generation have adopted “conditional obedience” into their walk with God, obeying only when it’s easy or convenient — God is either Lord of all, or not Lord at all.

I have been more serious than usual in my dealings with some of you because I feel the urgency of the Lord for us to get in step with Him. I speak all this in love and earnestly desire that we would all be brought deeper into His heart. He has so much good stored up for us this month and in the months to come, and I pray that all of us would be found ready to receive it when He opens those doors.

Praying for every heart reading/watching this today!

Go through our articles from the past couple months and you know that July is a significant month in God’s calendar.

The Lord has been saying over and over again that many of His faithful children will be taken to a new level in July. He has also been warning us that the enemy will push hard against us because we’re about to move to the next level, and He’s given us strategies to overcome the enemy’s attacks (scroll through May + June articles).

True to His word, on July 2nd, I had a pivotal, life-defining encounter with Him.

One of the things He said to me was this:  Prayer and intimacy is where all the ministry MUST be birthed. Not plans, programs, but in following the leading of My Holy Spirit in ALL things. A new level of prophetic insight + foresight. A new level of accuracy + authority. You will be taken into the Throne Room, and you must throw out old models + mindsets of what “women’s ministry” looks like or “how things were done before” or “what is expected”, but led by Holy Spirit, according to THRONE ROOM revelation. I am calling you higher into new levels of revelation, into the Throne Room of heaven, and you must let go of what you “knew before” and old ways of doing things because they won’t work with the new things I’m doing. I am leading you to do MY ministry in a new, cutting-edge way. New wineskin for new wine.

So I wanted to take some time and update you on some of the new things that are happening around here.

If you’ve known us long enough, you know that we don’t function like how most women’s ministries are expected to be. We don’t have a set of standard conferences or publications, and we don’t launch a new collection once every quarter like clockwork. We do things as the Lord shows us to. We want everything we do to be birthed out of prayer and intimacy, to be Spirit-breathed because we believe lives can only be impacted deeply when His Spirit is present. (At the same time, we don’t think that ministries that do have a standard set of programs are wrong. We’re all just called to serve Him differently!) We believe God is our CEO and we seek to be led by His Spirit, to be presence driven instead of program driven.

CreateCollective: Starting from July, we will open the doors of our monthly worship nights half-an-hour earlier. In this pre-worship time, we will have ministry teams ready to minister to you through prophecy, prophetic song, prophetic dance, prophetic art, and any other way that Holy Spirit leads. This will be the time to come if you need healing, deliverance, or a word of direction from the Lord. We will also be starting monthly community nights this month, because we believe that building relationship is just as important an aspect of worship.

**More details + sign up for the CreateCollective community under the “Get Involved” menu at the top – open to men and women across the globe.

Prophetic Equipping: It started as a Bible Study group, but as our classes evolved we found the Lord leading us away from following a set of study materials and toward following His Spirit’s agenda for each session. As such, we will no longer be doing this in batches (previously was limited to 10 people per batch, one batch per year) because we don’t see a definitive “completion” date for the classes. Rather, each session builds on the foundation of the previous one and there’s no limit to how far we can go. Therefore, we are now opening these sessions for all who are interested to grow in the prophetic together with a community of believers across denominations.

**More details + sign up for Prophetic Equipping under the “Get Involved” menu at the top – open to Singapore residents only.

Godly Womanhood Sisterhood: The Lord spoke to us about our community of volunteers being like Gideon’s 300 men – we start small, dig deep, and build strong – so we screen through all applications and only receive those who are committed to run together. We believe it is friendship that sustains the ministry, and we’re not interested just in what you can do, but also who you are and how we can run together with you. We’re a sisterhood of women who seek to run in the fullness of our calling, each having the space to use our spiritual gifts, and serving other women by calling them to the fullness of their calling.  To run together as a sisterhood of lionesses – together, unique, but as one.

**More details + sign up for our Volunteer community under the “Get Involved” menu at the top – open to Singapore residents only.

Finances: The Godly Womanhood Shop supports all our ministry work in Singapore, and around the globe. Out of that, we also give 20% to bless other ministries. None of our volunteers (myself included, as the ministry’s first full-time volunteer) take a single cent from the profit, and it all goes to sustain + grow the ministry work.

**You can support the ministry by shopping at the store, or by making a donation to help us reach more women.

And that’s it for now! We wanted to keep you updated as the Lord leads us to grow + evolve, and we’d love for you to get in touch if anything of what we shared resonates with you.

There is a season of increase + acceleration that’s coming. This includes many of us taking new ground, stepping into new territory, new anointing, a higher level in our spiritual walk, etc.

It is so key to abide in this season as we prepare to step out into the next season. We the children of God must remain beneath the shadow of the Most High so that we step into new territory under His protection. The enemy also knows that this is a significant season for many of us, and will try to discourage/derail us. Now, more than ever, we must keep in step with Him and go only when He says, “Go”.

We are in an incubation period, and we need to look to Him so we don’t lose our faith.

If you feel lost or don’t know what to do, run to Him. If you need vision or wisdom, look to Him. His promise to you today is: Those who trust in Me will never be put to shame.

He is fighting your battles, His blood breaks all the chains. In His presence, every knee must bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord… and that includes your circumstances + enemies.

We are in an incubation period, and we need to learn from this prophetic picture in Mary’s life —

The angel answered, ‘The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.‘” Luke 1:35

We must remain under the shadow of the Most High. It is so important.

And just like Mary, as His Spirit overshadows us, His divine plans will be birthed in our lives.

The 20 minute video below goes more into detail on this prophetic word that I feel is heavy on the Lord’s heart. Feel free to watch the video (below) and share it with those you feel need to hear it this season. Praying for a release of heaven’s breakthrough over every life, in Jesus’ name.

Hi, Samantha, I am from Baltimore, MD.in the United States. I am in a leadership role in the prayer ministry at my church and have been accepted to begin ministry school.

Your message truly confirmed what I have been experiencing and what the Lord has placed upon my heart. I have been undergoing extreme attacks physically, financially and emotionally especially during the past month. The Lord kept me relying upon and confessing Galatians 2:20 and, in the Amplified Bible, Philippians 3:10. He also emphatically spoke in my spirit that in this season, He,alone, was to order my “starts and stops”. This morning, He reminded me that He had led me to your site thru a message about June that you had placed on the “Elijah List” a couple of weeks ago which I excitedly shared with friends and family. I was hit again with excruciating pain yesterday and this morning, but after getting in His Presence,it lifted. That’s when the Lord reminded me that your prophetic messages were being sent to me directly by Him and that it was not so much for me to share at this point, but in the fact that the message would confirm exactly where I am right now! GOD bless you for your hearing heart, Samantha. It is truly a blessing to me and the Body of Christ. May you and your family continually remain in God’s rest.ReplyCancel

I’m back with the story of how Alex and I met + got together! Before we continue, make sure you read the prologue first and then part 1 and part 2. Alex & I love how God wrote our love story. We’ve shared that story to many, and have been asked to share our wedding vows to youths learning about God-centered relationships. But I’ve struggled with writing about it because it is so very personal + sacred to me. Also, every time I’ve sat down to write this story, our marriage has come under attack and I’ve given up. But over the past year God has been challenging me to do it – let His work in our lives be a light to others. Because it’s not just about how God wrote our love story; it’s about how God came into the lives of two broken people and wrote something beautiful out of that mess… and how we get to live the story He’s still writing. So this is our story, the story of us.

~

It’s our 2nd year wedding anniversary tomorrow, so I thought it a good time to look back on how God has brought us this far. Ergo, a continuation of how God wrote our love story as follows!

Now where did we last end off? Ah yes… the moment Alex and I first bumped into each other, at the first conference the Lord told us both to attend that year, after about a year of deep heart work with God individually.

At that point, I was wrestling through many questions with God, and Alex was waiting for a major prophetic word from the Lord. Neither of us had a clue that God was writing our love story through it all.

Alex (June 2011)

From day 1 of the conference, he knew James Goll had a prophetic word from the Lord for him. He waited all that first day, but nothing happened. The hosting pastor of that church wanted to call him over that day, but James Goll told him, “Not yet”. God has His perfect timing.

Alex waited all through the next day, and the next… and nothing happened.

Finally, it was the very last night of the conference. Alex, tired after the past few conference days of waking up early + sleeping late, was seated in the very first row of the auditorium… asleep. The head-thrown-back-mouth-agape kind of deep sleep.

It was also that moment that the Lord must’ve said, “Now!” because the next thing he knew, James Goll’s booming voice said, “Alexander!” and a hand came upon his blurry-eyed-just-waking-up head and then proceeded to deliver the biggest, most ultimate life prophecy he had ever received (and has ever received till this day).

I don’t know if God had a good laugh about it that day, but we sure do laugh about it now!

It’s funny how God ambushed this eager young prophet-in-training, and chose the moment when he was most rested in the Lord, to deliver a life-defining prophecy about his call as a prophet who would raise up a prophetic army. It’s a pretty prophetic picture to me right there.

The conference ended without us officially meeting, but a few days after that, Alex had a prophetic dream in which he was introduced to, “The woman who will be your intercessor”.  About a year later when feelings for me began to be awakened in his heart, he began Facebook stalking me (come one boys, you know you do it) and was amazed by what he found – one of my photos from a few years back was exactly the same as the intercessor woman he’d met in his dream, right down to my long hair dressed in jeans + a pullover. Wow, God.

Life carried on as he sought God with increased fervor, and we crossed paths again a few weeks later at a gathering of creatives from across churches. Alex didn’t recognize me as the woman in his dream because I had short hair at that time (explained in part 2) and in the dream I had long hair. This time though, God made sure we’d get to speak to each other…

Sam (June 2011)

That first conference day after bumping into Alex’s chest nametag, I hurried back to my seat for the next session and went home that night full of thoughts about all I’d heard from the Lord that day. I didn’t give that name “Alexander Wiraatmaja” a second thought, but God had it all set up.

Late that night as I was sleeping, He woke me up as He was prone to do during that season of my life. When He wakes me up in the middle of the night, it’s either because He wants me to wait on Him, or to pray. That night, He woke me up and told me to pray. I said, “Yes Lord, what/who should I pray for?” and immediately that nametag with Alex’s name flashed in my mind. The vision was so strong, clear, and incessant, there was no way I could misunderstand the Lord message. So, I began to pray for this stranger.

All the info I had to go by was his name, there wasn’t anything else I knew about him. But as I prayed in the spirit for this person Alexander Wiraatmaja, the Lord began to show me many things about his life + his destiny. He showed me the meaning of Alex’s name, the call on his life, and many other things that left me amazed – I almost couldn’t believe how perfectly matched were our journeys, calling, and purposes God was revealing to each of us.

At that point, I wasn’t 100% sure if what I’d sensed for Alex in prayer was accurate. But God will always send confirmation to back up His word. On the last night of the conference, I got to hear everything that James Goll prophesied over Alex because it was right in the middle of the night session + captured on camera for the entire audience to see + hear as he prophesied on the mic. God had set it up perfectly.

I think my jaw dropped closer and closer to the ground as the prophecy went on – these were the exact things that the Lord had showed me about Alex a couple nights before, and these were also things the Lord had been speaking to me about my own destiny.

I didn’t quite know what to make of it, and we ended that conference without officially meeting. I didn’t feel the need to go up to Alex and tell him that the Lord had spoken to me about him a few nights ago. I thought that, perhaps, all God had wanted was for me to intercede for him just that one night. I knew that if God wanted us to become friends, He would make it happen without my help.

A week later, the Lord told me to attend the last night of another conference that was going down in the city, so I did. As usual, I was seated right at the back, and lo and behold, there was Alex seated right in the front. And as usual, we both left the conference without having officially met.

Then, a couple weeks later, the Lord again told me to go to a gathering of creatives. I didn’t want to go because I felt like my area of calling had nothing to do with the arts or music, but the Lord was insistent that I go, so I went.

I was late to the meeting – again. So I came in and stayed at the back – again. As the session continued, I saw a by-now-familiar back seated way out in the front – again. Alex.

By this 3rd time, I was slightly freaking out on the inside. There’s such a thing as too many coincidences, right? What in the world was going on here? I was so freaked out, I would’ve left this 3rd time without speaking to him – again. But this time, God had other plans.

Third time’s the charm, hey? Stay tuned to see how God orchestrated our first “official” meeting…

To be continued.
